Kuwait Little League Baseball

The Kuwait Little League (KLL) started in 1980 and its a non-profit organization run completely on the volunteers efforts of administrators, coaches and other adults who are dedicated to give children a quality baseball experience here in Kuwait.

This year, the Kuwait Little League, which first chartered with Little League International in Williamsport, Pennsylvania in the United States, has 21 teams in the baseball division, four teams in the softball division and two teams in the Challenger division, a program for youth with developmental and physical challenges.

To be honest, I didn’t know that we had people play baseball in Kuwait, I guess I really need to get out more often. Checkout the video of last season collection of pictures.

  1. Its weird that i googled this subject and i found your blog :p i was actually wondering if we have baseball fields or those practice places in Kuwait? I’m interested in trying it out, any idea?

  2. Wow, major nostaljia. I recall being part of the Mariners minor league team back in 1988-1989 (at the time the team was run by Japanese coaches) when we were living in Kuwait and attending elementary school at ASK. Great to see the league is still alive and kicking. All the Best, Malek Temsah
