My Trip to Mercedes-Benz Museum in Stuttgart

I took a trip to Mercedes-Benz Museum in Stuttgart last week to explore the wonders of Mercedes-Benz history. I arrived around 3:00 pm, bought my ticket and went in. I got into an elevator to the top and then gradually walk down an easy spiral that took me down through the years to modern times.

The museum displays a large collection of 160 vehicles and over 1,500 exhibits, all gathered in one place. The context for each era is very well done. You need more than 3 hours so you don’t have to race through it. I personally could spent a day or two there without getting bored a minute.

The museum opens to visitors six days a week, from 9:00 am until 6:00 pm (ticket sales close at 5 PM) and they are off on Mondays. The entry ticket fee costs 8 Euros.

By the way, you don’t have to like cars to enjoy the museum. So, if you happened to be in Stuttgart you have to stop by and check out one of the top car museums in the world. I took lots of pictures during my visit, I hope you like them. Enjoy!

Directions to the museum: From Stuttgart main train station take the S-Bahn line S1 train going to Kirchheim (Teck). Get off the train at the Mercedes-Benz Neckar Park station and its a 10 minute walk to the museum.
