No more micro USB’s or dangling cables anywhere. Starbucks teamed up with Duracell Powermat to offer customers wireless charging pads in their stores, starting with the San Francisco area.
The “Powermat Spots” will allow compatible devices to charge wirelessly in designated areas of tables and counters.
Starbucks’ says it will begin installing wireless charging pads at stores in major cities sometime next year and eventually in stores nationwide over time.
