Microsoft has announced the latest version of its Windows operating system, Windows 10, at an event in San Francisco on September 30th, 2014.
The new operating system will bring back some of its old features that were left out of Windows 8 like the Start Menu and the ability to run an application without it being full-screen, plus more new features.
Microsoft said at its launch event that the operation system is still in a beta version, and that it will be refined and released to developers ahead of a full public release in 2015.
The company has released a video (seen below) with Windows Vice President Joe Belfiore explaining some of the features of the new upcoming operating system.
