A team of French inventors have come up with the Cicret Bracelet that aims to replace smartphones by projecting a ‘touch screen’ onto the forearm using a tiny projector and sensors. The device detects the location and movement of your fingers, essentially turning the surface of your skin into a touchscreen. You can tap, swipe and pinch as you would normally, according to the design team.
The Cicret Bracelet features an accelerometer and a vibration module, along with an LED for notifications. The bracelet can connect via WiFi, Bluetooth and a Micro USB port.
The company is planning to have the Cicret to market in about a year and a half, with a suggested price of around $400. Watch the video below.
