Mercedes-Benz tuner Brabus recently turned its attention to the Rocket 900 Desert Gold Edition based on the Mercedes S 65, and the result is simply breathtaking. The car is set to debut at the 2015 Dubai International Motor Show from 10-15 November, 2015.
The Brabus Rocket 900 comes with a stock 6.3-liter, V12 twin-turbocharged engine. The result is 900 horsepower and 1,500 Nm (1,106 lb-ft), 0 – 100 km/h (62 mph) in 3.7 seconds, and an electronically limited top speed of 350 km/h (217 mph), although Brabus says production cars will be limited to 848 pound-feet to preserve the drive-train. It’s a powerful car indeed that has to be restrained from hurting itself.
Gold-colored seams and piping add subtle accents. The interior elements such as switches and bezels also received an elaborate custom gold-colored
coating. The headliner of the sedan is made from deep black Alcantara.
