Norwegian Griff Aviation company has created a heavy-cargo drones that can lift up to 225 kilogram (496lbs), in addition to its own 75 kilogram (165lbs) weight, depending on payload, and pilots through the air for 30 to 45 minutes on a single charge.
The Griff drone will be available in three models the 125, 300 and 800. All models get the names from their respective gross carrying capacity in kilograms.
The company claims that its monstrous drone could be used by emergency services, the agriculture sector, as well as research and government agencies in the future. It has been approved by the Norwegian Civil Aviation Authority. They are also certified by both the EASA (European Aviation Safety Agency) and the FAA (Federal Aviation Administration).
