The Making of Emirates’ 50th Airbus A380
Emirates airlines posted a video online that features a behind the scenes glimpse into the making of Emirates’ 50th Airbus A380. It took 800 workers around 80 days to assemble, install, test, paint, furnish and deliver the iconic double-decker airplane. All of Emirates’ A380s have been assembled and delivered via the Airbus facility in Hamburg, Germany.
The New Kuwait Airways Airbus A320 And A330
Kuwait Airways posted photos on instagram of their new Airbus family passenger aircrafts, the Airbus A320 business class and the Airbus A330 first class, which is due to arrive in December. The airline has ordered five A330s and seven A320s, all of which will be line fitted with Mobile and Internet connections. Airbus A330 Engine Explosion Caught On Video
A Thomas Cook Airbus A330 aborting takeoff after what appears to be an engine explosion. The entire scene was caught on video by plane spotter Simon Lowe who posted it on YouTube. The airplane was carrying 325 passengers heading to the Dominican Republic at Manchester Airport.
Zero Gravity on Board Airbus A330 Zero-G
Passengers on Board Airbus A330 Zero-G enjoying their weightlessness experience during the first zero gravity flight for paying passengers in Europe. Each passengers paid $7,800 US (6,000 euros) for each ticket. The tickets were sold out for the years 2013 and 2014.
