Venge is a famous restaurant in Levent, Istanbul in the middle of the financial district (next to the Saudi Arabia Consulate) that offers good food with delicious appetizers. I’ve been told that there are 3 Venge restaurants in Istanbul, the first one is in Levent area, Second one is in Sortie and the last one is Nisantası.

The meal started off with complementary lentil soup and it was awesome, then appetizers (Maza) Humus and Mohamara came afterwards they were ok. It didn’t take long for my main course to arrive, its called iskander. Iskander is a famous Turkish dish and its origins are from Bursa, its a Shawarma Lamb served on a bed of a bread tomato sauce, yoghurt and fries, it tasted very good.

Overall, the food was good, over priced a bit but not worst than the summer prices as I was told. The service was satisfactory and competent. I would give this restaurant seven to eight stars out of ten. Judging from what I see at the table, everyone was happy with the food.
