First Private Marijuana Clubs Open in Colorado

In Denver, people filled out an online application and paid a $30 fee to become part of Club 64, a private marijuana club named after the new pot law, Amendment 64. The Club 64 opened it’s doors for the first time on Monday, to be the first private pot-smoking club in the Colorado.

The adults over 21 can posses up to an ounce of marijuana, and the club’s general counsel believes the club is 100 percent legal. Members can bring their own marijuana or share with other adults. Owners say no marijuana will be sold there.

“Amendment 64 says you can consume marijuana all you want, but just not in public, so this is by definition private,” said Robert Corry.

Denver police say they are waiting for guidance from the city attorney and district attorney to see if any action needs to be taken. The club will likely change venues each week, and members could get a text letting them know where to meet.

A company based in Soquel, California, has created a new line of soda pot (or, marijuana soda) that it plans to launch in Colorado in February.

According to Clay Butler, the founder of soda pot line will include the “flagship cola drink Canna Cola, the Dr Pepper–like Doc Weed, the lemon-lime Sour Diesel, the grape-flavored Grape Ape and the orange-flavored Orange Kush.”

The 12 ounce bottle drink don’t come cheap, each bottle will retail for roughly $10 to $15. Containing 35 to 65 milligrams of THC, the main psychoactive ingredient in cannabis, Canna Cola is substantially less potent than many of the other drinks currently on the market.

The Border Patrol Agents became suspicious of a 94 year old lady as she attempted to enter the U.S. border. The old lady was immediately detained after they found ten and a half pounds of marijuana strapped to her body while trying to cross the pedestrian gate to Arizona State border. The six bundles had an estimated street value of $5,250.

Maybe the old lady have been forced or threatened with her life if she didn’t do this!!?? Who knows!!??
