About two days ago I noticed (on the right side panel in popular posts) 8×8 Nissan Patrol post started to increase in number of traffic. Even though it was a hit but it was posted back in December! So I started to wonder why the opposition with this post all of a sudden!? Could it be a new car for Sheikh Hamad?

I began searching the net and I found that Sheikh Hamad bin Hamdan Al Nahyan had his name engraved into the sands of his island “Al Futaisi” in giant 1000 meter capital letters, and can be seen visible from space.

Accourding to The Sun, the name is two miles across — with letters a kilometre high. It is so huge that the “H”, the first “A” and part of the “M” have been made into waterways.

Sheikh Hamad has one of the largest car collections in the world at over 200 cars, including the legendary seven Mercedes 500 SELs painted in different colours of the rainbow, and he is also known as “The Rainbow Sheikh”.

As I said before, this man is amazing!! He goes beyond the limits (not just for cars) and comes up with ideas that would never cross a man’s mind. Check out the engraved name on Google maps below, and while you’re at it check out his Facebook Page as well.
