The Killer Burger

A Luther Burger is a hamburger or cheeseburger with one or more glazed doughnuts in place of the bun. These sandwiches have a questionable origin, and tend to run between approximately 800 to 1,500 kilocalories (3,300 to 6,300 kJ).

The burger was named for and was a favorite (and possible invention) of singer-songwriter and record producer Luther Vandross.

A little reminder, Luther Vandross suffered from high blood pressure and diabetes. He died of diabetes related stroke complications in 2005. His father was an upholsterer who died of diabetes when he was just 8, and one of his brothers died in his 20’s with the same problem. Most of his family have been fatally struck down by the same disease.

So, basically you either die early or spend most of your life with a fatal disease for eating the Luther Burger or any food that contains the same type of ingredients.

Do you still want to eat this Burger?
