Kuwait is ranked as the 15th richest country in the world with an estimated gross domestic product per capita of $38,775, according to Forbes magazine. Forbes looked at GDP per capita adjusted for purchasing power for 182 countries.
Qatar came first on the list, ranked as the world’s richest country per capita due to a rebound in oil prices and its massive natural gas reserves, with an estimated gross domestic product per capita of $88,222 for 2010. United Arab Emirates was also ranked as the world’s sixth-richest country in the world with an estimated gross domestic product per capita of $47,439 estimated from 2009.
