Asda, one of Britain’s biggest supermarket chain is selling 3D-printed figurines, offering customers a chance to be scanned and made into a detailed miniatures statues.
The supermarket is holding a trial of the service at their York store in northern England. Having your whole body scanned takes between two-three minutes, with a small handheld machine recording images at a speed of about 15 frames per second. Check out the video below.
