The Spike Aerospace S-512 claims to be the first supersonic business jet that can cut flight time in half so that it can travel from New York to London in just three hours. However, such convenience and speed comes at a price that cost between $60 million and $80 million (£36.3 million and £48.4 million).
The jet will have no real windows, but the interior walls will be covered with a thin display screen showing live panoramic view from outside, instead of traditional individual windows.
The company plans to promote the project with an exhibit at the 2014 EAA Airventure airshow, which is scheduled for July 28-August 3, 2014.
