FireChat a new iPhone app that lets you chat and share photos with nearby users without the need of Internet or mobile phone coverage when sending images or text. The app relies on Bluetooth and Wi-Fi to transmit messages between nearby users within 15 metres away, although Wi-Fi is good for almost twice that under ideal circumstances.
FireChat is only for communicating between your phone and other devices running the app. The app is available on the App Store.
