Renault has unveiled its newest racer, the Renault Sport RS 01, a single seater GT racer influenced by the world of concept cars.
The RS 01 racer features a carbon-fiber monocoque chassis from Dallara that weighs less 1,100 kg (2,425 pounds). The centrally-mounted Nismo V6 3.8L twin-turbo engine develops over 500 horsepower with a top speeds of over 300 km/h (186 mph).
The Renault Sport R.S. 01 wide stance of 2,000 mm is reinforced by the signature of the LED daytime-running lights positioned along the brake cooling scoops.
