GoPro has unveiled its next camera, the HERO4, that offers 4K resolution at 30fps full-motion video. It will come in Black and Silver with a new convenient touch screen LCD display!
The available resolutions and frame rates for the Silver are 4K at 15fps, 2.7K at 50fps, 1440p at 80fps, 1080p at 120fps, 960p at 120fps, and 720p at 120fps. The Black edition is basically the same except that it captures 4K video at up to 30 fps. It takes 12-megapixel stills and is waterproof down to 40 metres (131 feet).
Pricing and availability aren’t known at this point, as GoPro will officially announce the two HERO4 cameras on October 8.
