To celebrate the Chevrolet small-block engine’s 60th anniversary, Hagerty Insurance have collaborated with Thirlby Automotive to restore the iconic V-8 engine. They ripped apart a well-used engine from a 1970 Impala convertible and rebuild it back up from scratch.
The Chevrolet small-block engine is a series of automobile V8 engines built by the Chevrolet Division of General Motors, began in the fall of 1954 for the 1955 model year and has discontinued in 2003.
