Remember the Jaguar C-X75? Created for Jaguar’s 75th anniversary, it was revealed back in 2010 at the Paris motor show. Jay Leno was also one of the first people who tested the Jaguar C-X75 when it was just a concept car.
The Jaguar C-X75 will be featured in the new James Bond movie Spectre driven by one of the villains Hinx (played by David Bautista). The car is powered by a supercharged V8 pumping out 550 horsepower, as oppose to the original 778 horsepower hybrid drivetrain. We can’t wait to see it in action on the big screen.
According to British magazine Autocar, Jaguar is thinking of bringing the C-X75 to production earlier this year. The project called for the coupe to be re-named C-X80 in honor of the company’s 80th birthday, with limited production of approximately 80 units to be built. Its launch would have coincided with the release of Spectre, the new James Bond movie in which the C-X75 is prominently featured as the bad guy’s car.
