Tag Heuer Connected Smartwatch Runs Android

TAG Heuer Connected Smartwatch

Swiss watchmaker TAG Heuer teamed up with Google and Intel to develop a smartwatch that features a round touchscreen display running Android Wear, and a titanium case.

The bright display shows its digital hands and hour markers – unlike many other models that turn off the screen to save power, and the built-in lithium battery is said to last a day between charges.

The smartwatch comes with a standard black rubber strap, but will also be available in six colors including blue, red, green, orange, white and yellow.

The luxury smartwatch is powered by Intel Atom Z34XX processor, 4GB of internal storage and built-in Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. The usual assortment of sensors for features like step-counting are also inside. It works with iPhones running iOS 8.2 and higher and Android smartphones running Android 4.3 and higher.

Tag Heuer Connected Smartwatch ($1,500) is now available in the United States, followed by November 12th in Japan, and globally by the end of this month. Watch the video below.
