Nissan launches the all-new second-generation Armada full-size SUV, arriving at Nissan dealers nationwide in mid-2016. The latest generation was unveiled at the 2016 Chicago Auto Show.
The 2017 Armada packs a 5.6-liter V8 with 390 horsepower and 401 pound-feet of torque, and a seven-speed automatic transmission replaces the current five-speed.
Compared to the previous Armada, the 2017 model is 1.2 inches longer overall and 0.6 in wider. Its wheelbase is 2.1 in shorter, though, and its roof 2.2 in lower. The cabin is still very roomy and eight adults can still fit inside. Equipment will depend on what trim you select. Nissan will be offering the 2017 Armada in SV, SL and Platinum trim levels. In addition, the 2017 Armada offers an exceptional array of standard features, including Nissan Navigation with NavTraffic and NavWeather information (SiriusXM® subscription required, sold separately) and 8.0-inch color display, heated front seats and 13-speaker Bose® audio system.
