This is the new Kuwaiti biometric passport, also known as an e-passport that will be soon issued to Kuwaiti citizens, after providing the mandatory DNA tests.
The biometric passport is a combined paper and electronic passport that contains information to identify travelers. It uses smart card technology, including a microprocessor chip and antenna, mostly embedded in the front passport cover.
