Mercedes-Benz has launched an electric-powered concept car called the Generation EQ, which was unveiled at 2016 Paris Motor Show. This crossover EV is supposedly a “near-to-production” demonstration of Benz’s comprehensive plan to release multiple long-range electric vehicles under its new “EQ” sub-brand.
The concept car is equipped with a 70-kWh battery pack and its two electric motors on the front and rear axles that produce up to 402 hp of power and 516 lb-ft of torque, good enough for hit 62 mph from a dead stop in less than five seconds, Benz says the car is capable of eking out around 311 of range from a single full charge.
