Traffic signals depicting pedestrians in dresses have been unveiled in the Australian city of Melbourne as a 12-month trial backed by the Committee for Melbourne. They hope the city’s pedestrian crossings will eventually have an equal number of female and male walking signals in a push for gender equality. Via: Herald Sun
The Magic Roundabout in Swindon, England, was constructed in 1972 and consists of five mini-roundabouts arranged around a sixth central, anti-clockwise roundabout. The crosswalk button is installed at Philadelphia Street in Indiana, Pennsylvania, the home town of the actor. The voice was provided by celebrity impersonator Rich Little.
