My New Nikon D3100

Last month, I bought one of the most affordable and economic DSLR cameras in the market. Its the Nikon D3100, this camera is really great for amature photographers like me, but at the same time it offers all the important features and new technologies and is capable to produce a very high quality photos. The D3100 is Nikon’s replacement for the D3000.

The Nikon D3100 is compact and lightweight DSLR camera with a resolution of 14.2 megapixels. Comes with a 18-55mm Zoom Lens, this camera will produce better image quality and offer HD movie mode at 1920×1080 pixels. It can only record clips of up to 10 minutes long, but this is a fairly impressive feature for an entry-level camera.

Overall, judging by the specifications and its price tag 200KD, this camera is a great buy. It has a very nice feel in the hand and the rubberized grip makes you feel secure holding the camera. The large 3-inch LCD panel display is gorgeous. This camera takes very good pictures. I would give it a 9 out of 10.

Take as many pictures as you can. This way you’ll have a lot to pick from when you’re done and the more options the better, and that’s what I really did. I took a couple of pictures to test the camera. check out the pictures below and tell me what you think.

3ateeja: You're right. Someone told me about this bas I wasn't paying attention to it. Now that you brought it up, I will check it out. Thanks for telling me. I take it that you have one, right? πŸ™‚

Crowsy: Thanks bro. Yes, I got it from Kuwait, and it cost me 200KD. Now, you can get it from Geant with another lens for 250KD and other accessories, not sure if this offer still stands. But this week a friend of mine got it from Ashraf for 190KD (Bag + 4GB Memory card). No lens of course. Let me know if you need help.

  7. In my option, brand wise, if you pick Canon or Nikon, you can't really go wrong. But I thing if you're an amateur photographer, Nikon D3100 should be the best for you to practice on. Plus its the best price in the market until now.
