Facebook Messenger App for Android and iPhone

Facebook has launched a new instant messaging application called Messenger for iOS and Android. Facebook Messenger is a faster way to send and receive messages. Reach friends right on their phones, you can send messages to both Facebook friends and to contacts who are not on Facebook. As an extension of the Facebook messaging system, all conversations are automatically saved to the user’s Facebook profile alongside Facebook chats, e-mails and messages.

Facebook has also added more advanced features to the application for both iOS and Android, such as group conversations with multiple users and location support to allow users in the conversation to easily locate each other on an integrated map view. Users will also be able to attach photos in a conversation allowing other users to view and comment on them. Here’s the link for the iPhone app and Android app.
