Brinno TLC100 TimeLapse Camera

I have always enjoyed watching time-lapse movies and hopefully one day I’d like to give it a shot in making one myself. It’s a very creative form of multimedia and when used for the right places it can be very informative and entertaining.

I came across a very cool and reasonable priced Time-Lapsed camera, its the TLC100 by Brinno. The TLC100 is a one-touch waterproof, low cost, easy to use wireless camera that captures 1280 x 1024 HD photos at set intervals for a set period of time.

The user has the option of choosing between 7 different time settings. The first 6 settings and are chosen simply by opening up the camera and turning the switch to the desired time (ranging from 1 minute, 5 minutes, 30 minutes, 1 hour, 4 hours, 24 hours), when the power is off. The 7th custom setting can be created by the user.

The TLC 100 operates on 4 AA that can capture up to 28,000 frames in its battery life and it can run for up to 200 days when the interval is set to 24 hours. Depending on how far apart you set the photo intervals, the Brinno TLC100 can capture photos of an area (say your front or back yard) over several months. The device comes with a 2GB flash drive and a one-year warranty. The TLC 100 is available on Amazon.com for $140.
