Introducing the second generation of the Porsche Cayenne GTS, based on the latest Cayenne. A more powerful engine, more dynamic power development, a tauter chassis with lower ride height, emphatically sporty equipment.
The Cayenne GTS is powered by a modified version of the Cayenne’s 4.8-litre V8 engine producing 309kW and 515Nm (up 15kW and 15Nm over the S) and sends its power to all four wheels via an eight-speed automatic transmission. It can accelerate from 0-100kmh in just 5.7 seconds, while fuel consumption is rated at 10.7L/100km, aided by a petrol-saving stop-start system.
It’s only available in two colours – red and green – with each version receives identically highlights through the cabin, including GTS stitching on the seatbacks, coloured seatbelts and bright stitch-work on the dash. Leather and alcantara sports seats are also standard. It will be officially unveiled at the 2012 Beijing motor show later this month, which starts on April 24th.
