MYO is a gesture control armband created by Thalmic Labs that can control electronic devices. The armband uses six-axis and muscle activity sensors to track the arm movement that can connects to Mac and PC machines using Bluetooth 4.0. When you snap your fingers, wave your hand, or point your finger, it translates that movement into a gesture based on the muscles used. An ARM processor and rechargeable batteries power the armband.
The MYO armband is now available for pre-order for $149 and is expected to ship in late 2013.
