Can You See the ‘Hidden Message’ in the new Wendy’s Logo? If you look closely, the ruffles in Wendy’s collar spell the word “mom”. Some of the blogging sites (Stocklogos) are saying it’s supposed to be a subliminal message meant to associate the fast food company’s product with home cooking.
“We are aware of this and find it interesting that it appears our Wendy cameo has ‘mom’ on her ruffled collar. We can assure you it was unintentional,” Wendy’s senior vice president of communications, Denny Lynch told Business Insider Monday.
The fast-food chain redesigned their first new logo in 29 years back in March. I think there is nothing demeaning in this, and associating the word MOM with home cooking for Wendy’s is a great marketing idea. And the best part of the whole logo propaganda is that they made everyone talk about it.
