A Detroit-based Equus Automotive has unveiled the custom-built Bass 770, a whole new breed of modern-classic American muscle cars. The retro style of this car design was inspired by the Ford Mustang, Dodge Challenger, Plymouth Road Runner and other muscle cars.
The Equus Bass is powered by a 6.2-liter supercharged V8 engine that develops a maximum of 640 hp and 819 Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a 6-speed double-clutch gearbox and it can take the Bass from zero to 62 mph (100 km/h) in just 3.4 seconds.
The Bass 770 doesn’t come cheap, orders vary from US$250,000 for a fully equipped model to $290,000.
