A German company called E-volo, has designed a two-seater remote controlled electric helicopter with multiple smaller propellers in the same way the tiny quadcopters maneuver.
The brilliant Volocopter VC200 has 18 propellers, along with 18 zero-emission motors powered by six battery packs. Its frame is created from carbon fiber to keep the aircraft lightweight.
The first flight tests took place on November, 17th 2013 in the dm-arena in Karlsruhe, Germany. Watch the video below.
