Marcel Fernandes has set a new Guinness World Record for texting 25 words in 18.19 seconds, beating the previous record by 0.25 seconds, that was set by Gaurav Sharma of Microsoft at 18.44 sec in January of this year.
The 16 year-old Brazilian set the record in New York with app called Fleksy, a mobile keyboard app designed by software company Syntellia.
To claim the record, Fernandes had to type a specific paragraph without using autocorrect or predictive text features. Watch the video below.
