Samsung has unveiled its sixth wrist-worn device, the Gear S Smartwatch, and it’s the first to include 3G connectivity.
The Gear S comes with a curved Super AMOLED display (360×480 resolution) that focuses on a classic dial watch design. It is powered by a 1GHz processor and Samsung’s own Tizen operating system as used on the Gear 2.
The watch will make its debut at the IFA consumer electronics conference in Berlin, Germany on Sept 5th. It will be available from early October, though the price has yet to be announced.
