VIVA’s Social Meeting Event

In light of the widespread usage of social media and in synch with the release of iPhone 4, VIVA connects with Kuwaiti bloggers about their positive role in community service.

VIVA Kuwait, announced that it is in the process of applying a new strategy in the domain of social media by activating its sites on Facebook, Twitter and YouTube, and by continuously connecting with Kuwaiti bloggers to become a pioneer in this area in light of accelerating technological advancements in various parts of the world. Therefore, along with being the first telecommunications company in Kuwait to offer the newly released iPhone 4, VIVA organized a reception that was attended by more than 30 Kuwaiti bloggers in addition to the marketing and social media team at VIVA Kuwait.

Mr. Salman Al-Badran, VIVA’s CEO, gave a speech about the importance of the positive role that bloggers are playing by contributing to the rise of the social media in Kuwait, and highlighted their creativity in spreading VIVA’s news, allowing readers to comment and express their candid opinions. “You, the educated generation of Kuwait, are promising a successful future and paving the way to a modern stage in media,” Al-Badran said. He added, “By using various social media outlets, we strive to encourage a direct and dynamic interaction between VIVA and online users to deliver VIVA’s latest news faster than other traditional media channels.” Also, Al-Badran indicated that VIVA’s Facebook page has reached 30,000 fans, a fact that he attributes to the connection between VIVA and its agent and the continuous interaction between the company and its followers. Finally, Al-Badran noted that VIVA has an outstanding, well-trained technical team whose core mission is to manage VIVA’s pages on social media sites. This guarantees quick, efficient interaction with VIVA’s agents around the clock to fulfill all of their requests.
