Instagram for Android Hits 10 Million Downloads
Today, the popular photo-sharing app Instagram for Android, that was bought by Facebook earlier this month for $1 billion, had hit 10 million downloads in the 22 days after it launched on the platform.
According to The Next Web, the company is looking at hitting 50 million users on all platforms after reaching the 40 million mark just under two weeks ago.
The Android app reached 1 million downloads in under 24 hours. It then only took another five days for the company to add another four million downloads, surpassing the 5 million mark on its sixth day of availability.

طفل سعودي يقتل والده بمسدس لرفضه شراء البلاي ستيشن
ذكرت وسائل الاعلام السعودية انه طفل سعودى في الرابعه من عمره قام بإطلاق النار وقتل والده لرفضه شراء لعبة البلاي ستيشن.
نقلا عن صحيفة الشرق والشرطة في محافظة العارضة شرق منطقة جازان أمس أن الطفل يبلغ من العمر أربع سنوات وسبعة أشهر، أطلق النار على والده بسبب عدم شراء جهاز «بلاي ستيشن»، مشيراً إلى أنه أصابه في جهة حاجب عينه اليسرى وأرداه قتيلاً. وتعود التفاصيل لطلب الطفل من والده أثناء خروجه من المنزل أن يحضر له «بلاي ستيشن»، وأثناء عودة الأب إلى المنزل لم يلبِّ طلب ابنه وأثناء قيام الأب بوضع المسدس الذي كان يحمله معه على طاولة بالمنزل بغرض تبديل ثيابه، تناول الطفل المسدس ليطلق النار على والده، ويصيبه في حاجب عينه اليسرى ما أدى إلى وفاته فيما فتحت الشرطة تحقيقاً في الحادثة.

Richard Lee Norris was injured in a gun accident in 1997 and lost his nose, lips and most movement in his mouth. A team of doctors at the University of Maryland Medical Center (in a 36 hour operation), the doctors gave Richard a new face from an anonymous donor — including both jaws, teeth, and tongue.
Six days after the surgery, he could already move his tongue and open and close his eyes and was recovering much faster than doctors expected.

Fake KFC Opens in Iran
The American fast food chain restaurant Kentucky Fried Chicken has (KFC) has denied reports it has opened a branch in Iran.
Last week, Iranian news media reported that the first Iranian franchise of KFC had been opened in Karaj and more outlets were soon to be opened in Tehran and other major cities in Iran. The so-called licence holder, Amir-Hossein Alizadeh said it took him five years to get the permission from relevant local authorities to re-open KFC in Iran, due to KFC’s affiliation with the US, which was Iran’s political arch-enemy.
KFC issued a statement warning it would sue anyone taking advantage of the KFC brand in Iran. The fast food chain added it had no plans to open restaurants in Iran.
