Samsung Galaxy S3 Android 4.2.2 Leaked Firmware

Samsung is working on an Android’s new firmware I9300XXIFME3 version 4.2.2 Jelly Bean for the Galaxy S3 smartphone, which brings a number of similar features as its successor, Galaxy S4.

The Android’s new firmware is still under testing by Samsung and they will release the official final Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean update for the Galaxy S3 around June.

- New S4 Lockscreen: Multiple Widgets, two Unlock effects (Ripple and Light), improved ripple effect than Android 4.1.2, ability to change clock size and set a personal message
- New Screen modes (From S4): Adapt Display and Professional Photo
- Daydream
- Driving mode
- Actionable notifications
- New Additions in Notification Center
- Completely revamped Settings UI (Tabbed interface – Exactly like the S4)
- Addition of Voice controls (Let’s you control various parts of the phone using voice commands – Galaxy S4 feature)
- Gallery modes have white background (When changing gallery modes to 3D the background changes to white)
- Full screen Samsung apps
- New S-Voice (from S4)
- New smart switch widget

An awesome couple caught in a gas station prank on The Tonight Show that turned them into karaoke superstars. It all started when actor Timothy Stack as a fake newscaster on a pump’s display screen interrupted the husband from pumping gas and asked him to sing karaoke for a free tank of gas. Leno’s gas station prank turns the singing couple (Will and Monifa) into viral video stars, they were invited by Jay Leno to play with Rickey and the Tonight Show Band, watch video below.

Mantis: Two Tonne Turbo Diesel Walking Machine

The Mantis is a turbo diesel walking machine with six hydraulically-actuated legs, designed and built by Micromagic Systems. The machine is biggest, all-terrain operational hexapod robot in the world.

This 2.2-liter British-designed can be piloted or remote WiFi-controlled, stands 2.8 meters high with a five meter working envelope and weighing in at just under two tonnes. Watch the video below.

The Liberator: World’s First 3D Printed Plastic Handgun

The Liberator is the world’s first 3D-printed plastic handgun. It’s almost entirely made from plastic, formed of 16 components made inside a Stratasys Dimension SST 3D printer. The only non-printed piece is a common hardware store nail used as its firing pin.

The design is complied with the Undetectable Firearms Act by inserting a six ounce cube of non-functional steel into the body of the Liberator, which makes it detectable with a metal detector. Watch the video below.
