RoboCop Giant Statue in Detroit

A couple of years back an idea was suggested to Detroit Mayor Dave Bing that a statue of the American Sci-Fi movie character RoboCop movie would make a great ambassador for the city of Detroit. Someone took the project and raised over $60,000 to actually build a 10-foot-tall statue of one of the city’s most famous icons.

The statue is on its way to Detroit, where it will be cast and manufactured in bronze by Venus Bronze Works.

The Liberator: World’s First 3D Printed Plastic Handgun

The Liberator is the world’s first 3D-printed plastic handgun. It’s almost entirely made from plastic, formed of 16 components made inside a Stratasys Dimension SST 3D printer. The only non-printed piece is a common hardware store nail used as its firing pin.

Ad With A Secret Message Only Children Can See

A very creative advertising campaign against child abuse in Spain that sends a clear message for children and a warning for adults. GREY has created two different messages, using an outdoor lenticular billboard showing the adults an awareness message, while children with an average height under 10 can see a different message with a clear and easy telephone number (picture above on the right).

It’s a very clever idea, but whats the point in exposing the secret message in a online video. It would defeat the purpose of the ad.

Special Filter Seperates Water From Coca Cola

Japan’s Rocket News24 has gone viral with this stunning video, they used a OKO filter that amazingly separated the cola flavor and color from a Cola drink.

The guy in the video demonstrates by pouring a fresh Coke-Cola through the filter into a glass. You can actually see the clear (kind of brownish) liquid! Can this be possible? Watch the video demonstration below.
