The World’s Shortest Escalator in Japan

The picture that you see above is claimed to be the shortest escalator in the world, and you can find it in an underground shopping area in Kawasaki station, Japan.

Reddit user “Etegamiguy,” who lives in Japan, filmed a short video of himself at one of the country’s least-known tourist destinations: what he refers to as the world’s shortest escalator.

According to Yahoo News, they contacted the Guinness World Records team, and they confirmed that it is indeed the shortest escalator in the world. Watch the video of the escalator below.

One Man Electric Helicopter By Hirobo

A Japanese helicopter manufacturing company Hirobo created a one-man electric helicopter concept presented at Tech expo in Nagoya. The single seat helicopter can fly for 30 minutes without producing any noise or pollution, and can travel at the speed of 100km/h.

The company believes that because of this technology, Japanese market alone will grow to over $120 million in coming years.

The Skycycle is a unique pedal powered roller coaster at Washuzan Highland Park in Okayama, Japan. The foot powered roller-coaster ride have seat belts, and a basket (just in case you feel sick). Giant Japanese Robot for sale at $1.3 Million

A Japanese based company called Suidobashi Heavy Industry unleashed last week at the Wonder Festival in Tokyo, the Kuratas 001 weighs a massive 4.5 tons and stands 13-feet tall. The diesel powered four-wheeled robot can get up to 6.2mph, and it can fire up to 6,000 plastic BBs per minute as well as firing water-powered missiles.

Giant Japanese Robot for sale at $1.3 Million

The super robot can be controlled from the cockpit inside the chest area, located above the waist or simply controlling it through iPhone connected to a 3G network. The robot is priced about $1.3 Million. Watch the video below.
