Quiet Skyscraper Demolition in Japan

Taisei Corporation has developed a new method of demolishing buildings which involves taking it floor by floor, gradually making their way to the ground. The company is using its Ecological Reproduction System (Tecorep) to lower the 140 meters (459.3 feet) Grand Prince Hotel Akasaka, Tokyo building to the ground. Watch the video below.

Daredevil Climbs Dubai Marina 101 Skyscraper

British daredevil James Kingston posted a video of himself climbing the Marina 101 in Dubai, the tallest residential building in the world. The Marina 101 is a 101-floor, 425-meter skyscraper currently under construction in the Dubai Marina. The crane he scaled rises to 450 meters. Watch the video below.

Climbing the Great Pyramid of Giza

Andrej Ciesielski traveled to Cairo with the intention to climb one of the three mammoth tombs, the Great Pyramid of Giza. The German tourist managed to scale the entire 4,500-old (146-metre) monument in eight minutes. Watch the video below.

Satlapse: Bird’s-Eye Aerial Time Lapse Cinematography

UK-based photographer Jamie Brightmore posted a time-lapse video of a bird’s-eye aerial footage taken with a DJI Phantom 2 drone hovering about 400 feet off the ground above London. The video is part of a new technique called “Satlapse”, developed by Brightmore, which appears to look like a high resolution satellite image.
