Quiet Skyscraper Demolition in Japan

Taisei Corporation has developed a new method of demolishing buildings which involves taking it floor by floor, gradually making their way to the ground. The company is using its Ecological Reproduction System (Tecorep) to lower the 140 meters (459.3 feet) Grand Prince Hotel Akasaka, Tokyo building to the ground. Watch the video below.

World’s Longest Glass Suspension Bridge

It’s called Haohan Qiao, Brave Men’s Bridge in English. The 300-meter-long (984 feet) structure is now officially the longest glass suspension bridge in the world. Satlapse: Bird’s-Eye Aerial Time Lapse Cinematography

UK-based photographer Jamie Brightmore posted a time-lapse video of a bird’s-eye aerial footage taken with a DJI Phantom 2 drone hovering about 400 feet off the ground above London. The video is part of a new technique called “Satlapse”, developed by Brightmore, which appears to look like a high resolution satellite image.
