Designer Shadman Ahmed gave Instagram a new face lift in his latest redesign concept for the photo sharing app. He simplified the design to make it more clearer for the users.
Shadman also created the concept to make it somewhat look like the Facebook color theme, in addition to including some of its unique features.
You probably noticed that Instagram launched new web based profile pages last week. Looking at my blogs new profile page, I couldn’t help but notice how nice and neat the page looks and the ability to browse through the past photos from my web browser.
You can also comment, like a photo or even follow users from the web profile page. In addition to editing your profile by including your name, bio, URL and email, but you can’t change your profile picture.
Instacube is an Android-based digital photo frame for your Instagram photos that feeds your favorite images wirelessly. You can display and show-off your Instagram photos in your home or office, all day long.
Instacube is very easy to use, connect the device to your home wireless network, then log in with your Instagram account and you’re done! Use the touch screen to navigate through your stream just as you would on your phone. Instacube is still a concept project at Kickstarter and is still seeking funding.
Today, the popular photo-sharing app Instagram for Android, that was bought by Facebook earlier this month for $1 billion, had hit 10 million downloads in the 22 days after it launched on the platform.
According to The Next Web, the company is looking at hitting 50 million users on all platforms after reaching the 40 million mark just under two weeks ago.
The Android app reached 1 million downloads in under 24 hours. It then only took another five days for the company to add another four million downloads, surpassing the 5 million mark on its sixth day of availability.
