The Oona Smartphone Stand

The Oona is a versatile and simple smartphone stand, made of aircraft grade aluminum that can do as much in the physical world as your phone can do in the virtual.

The Oona stand is a Kickstarter project they are looking to raise $10,000 to have the project funded. The project reached $97,885 blowing away the $10,000 that Brad Leong, Danny Fukuba, and Sam Gordon were looking to obtain. The Oona should be on the market soon.

If you’re planning to get one for yourself, go to Kickstarter page and pledge $25 or more. The project will be funded on Friday June 3, 2011. International shipping is available.

  1. I got my hands on the Oona recently. There aren’t many places that sell it in the UK that sell it besides these guys. It’s pretty good. I was a little nervous that the suction wouldn’t hold my phone well, but once you use it, you realize that it isn’t really an issue. It actually has a surprisingly strong grip, perhaps even better than some of the other smartphone stands about at the moment.

My phone now spends it life stuck on the cupboard in my kitchen, displaying recipes for me to read whilst cooking :]
