Nokia 808 PureView with 41 Megapixel Camera

Nokia unveiled the Nokia 808 PureView with a powerful 41 Megapixel camera at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain an annual event that showcases the industry’s latest innovations.

The Nokia 808 PureView runs on the company’s Symbian operating system and as the 41 Megapixel camera is equipped with Carl Zeiss lens, staying on track with the professional cameras that cost thousands of dollars. The device supports a 4-inch 16:9 nHD (640 x 360 pixels) AMOLED screen, 1.3GHz single-core SoC, 512MB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory.

The Nokia 808 PureView is due to be released in May and it will cost around $600.

  1. Nokia is trying the raise the bar on camera quality but still nokia will always be nokia no matter how hard they try their mobile devices r just horrible.

    Its not all about Megapixls even before when nokia had the 6 MP cameras other brands like SonyEricsson had lower pixls but bteer image quality.
