Mini pays tribute to the British Union Jack and the 2012 London Olympic Games. Introducing the Mini Rocketman concept the smaller version of the original Mini Cooper. The concept car was first debuted at the 2011 Geneva auto show.
The Mini changed the Rocketman new look, they gave the car a new paint job with a coat of dark blue paint, splashes of red around the edge of the roof, in the grille, and on the wheels. It came with a concept glass roof which reveals the Union Jack–patterned roof structure. The door trim feature the name of every host city of the summer Olympics, from Athens 1896 to London 2012.
The Rocketman concept will be displayed in London near the Olympic and Paralympic Village at the BMW Group Pavilion during the games.
