RHex is a bouncy six-legged all-terrain walking robot that could one day climb over rubble in a rescue mission or cross the desert with environmental sensors strapped to its back. It can jump, leap, and flip over anything that comes in its way. RHex is designed by a team of researchers at the University of Pennsylvania. Watch the video below.
