Colonel Meow has set a new Guinness World Record as the cat with the longest fur. The 2-year-old Himalayan-Persian cross-breed has hair that reaches 22.87 cm (9 inches).
Colonel Meow, who was adopted as a rescue cat from the Himalayan & Persian Society, needs his fur brushed 2–3 times a week. The owners said that they never use products on Colonel Meow’s fur, applying only water and brushes if he gets dirty.
