Renovo Motors has build the first American made all-electric supercar, the Renovo Coupe. The supercar chassis is based on the classic Shelby Daytona Coupe.
The Renovo Coupe is powered by three lithium-ion battery pack and a direct-drive twin sequential axial flux motors that can produce 500 horsepower and 1,000 pound-feet of torque, and it can go from 0–100 km/h (62 mph) in 3.4 seconds with a top speed of over 190 km/h (120 mph).
The electric supercar cost around $529,000 and is scheduled to start being delivered in 2015 with a the limited production. Watch the car in action in video below.
