BlackBerry has released its new Passport keyboard phone on Wednesday, after a long struggle to regain some of its former corporate users.
The new smartphone’s design, the size of a passport, has a 4.5-inch screen that show 60 characters across. That means spreadsheets, medical charts and other business friendly information will be readable.
Inside is a 2.2GHz Snapdragon 800 quad-core processor, 3GB of RAM, and 32GB of internal storage space. A 13-megapixel camera is on the back, fitted with a new lens and sensor, plus it has optical image stabilization.
BlackBerry says its new smartphone comes with a largest 3,450mAh battery compared to the top selling smartphones and tablets, that provides up to 30 hours of mixed use.
The new BlackBerry Passport is scheduled to get a worldwide release date in the first quarter of October. Watch the video below.
